What is a Phosphoric acid?

Phosphoric acid (also known as orthophosphoric acid or phosphoric (V) acid) is a weak acid and found naturally in many foods and used as an additive, so most people get enough in their diet. Studies suggest that excessive phosphorus intake could put you at risk for osteoporosis and heart disease. Calcium and phosphorus work together to form and maintain healthy teeth and bones (see: Wikipedia).
