Pyridoxine

Pyridoxine, also known as vitamin B6, is a form of vitamin B6 found commonly in food and used as dietary supplement. Vitamin B6 plays an important role in the body. It is needed to maintain the health of nerves, skin, and red blood cells. It’s significant to protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Pyridoxine has been used to prevent or treat a certain nerve disorder (peripheral neuropathy) caused by certain medications (such as isoniazid) (see: Wikipedia).
